Balakot attack a model for India

The pulwama attack in which 40 CRPF jawans were killed by the Terrorists, has come at a time when India had borne the brunt of Terrorism, to such an extent that the patience of the country was tested.

India had the option of remaining silent, but it was too much for the country's political establishment and armed forces to exercise restraint against the Pakistan supported Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist organisation, which had claimed responsibility for the Pulwama Attack.

Indian Political establishment had to give the due to armed forces, and PM Narendra Modi gave the freedom to the armed forces, to act as they want to, and the country is behind them.

The Indian Armed Forces acted wisely, targeting only the Terrorist Camp at Balakot and not targeting the Pakistani Establishments and civilians. This is a clear message to the world that India is not against any country, but it does not want the Terrorists to create havoc in Indian Territory.

Acting wisely, the armed forces have displayed the maturity of a professional force, which our political establishment is proud of.

In the aftermath of Balakot attack, an Indian Airforce Plane was down in POK, and the pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman got caught by the Pakistanis. Owing to the international pressure, PM Imran Khan had to release him, and this is termed by PM Imran Khan as a peace gesture. No matter what he says, its because of the international pressure that Abhinandan was released by Pakistan.

In this saga, the lesson that India should learn, is that targeting the Terrorist Camps has become legal today, and Indian Armed Forces should do this as and when they identify any Terrorist Camp mushrooming in our neighboring country.
