AAP could set a Precedent in Politics

The emergence of Aam Admi Party in politics has been a spectator watch.

Since the party came to power in Delhi one month back, we have witnessed Dharnas that the party undertook for rooting out corruption, ensuring security to women and enhancing water distribution network, stating them to be among his top priorities as stated by its chief Arvind Kejiriwal.

Today Aam Admi Party said it will contest over 350 Lok Sabha seats and vowed to take on tainted  candidates and political leaders who have become"symbols" of corruption and criminalization of politics.

Till today, the party is known for its street dissent displays which we call dharnas, and today 30Jan2014 being the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, i have to state that i find a little bit of Gandhigiri in those dharnas, the Munnabhai style.

This decision of the AAP to field candidates against tainted candidates could set a precedent in politics, as this is a case of Apparent Peculiarities in politics, and when such an idea is incorporated with a sense of purpose and responsibility, could give the AAP an identity in National Politics.

The AAP has to have its on rock-solid principles, which i call Suchal, for it to have a rock-solid foundation as its pillars in the National Politics to stand against the time and the vagaries of politics in country.

The AAP can draw out its own niche by having its own suchal, one of which is in each and every election irrespective of its scope-scale, it will always be a party which will have candidates being fielded against tainted candidates in elections. This has to be one of its Suchal.

When such a suchal is associated with a party, there would be awareness and the dynamics of electioneering is bound to change and positivities can be expected in election-process, leading to cleansing of the election-dirt, thereby creating a positive change in Indian Elections.

I hope the AAP continues its policy of fielding candidates against tainted candidates in each and every elections as its party policy, and i hope some other like minded people like Arvind Kejiriwal could make some strides with the same policy in politics, for the politics in the country to white.

Vamsi.
30JAN2014.
